James is a Chartered Engineer with over 15 years’ experience in the Built Environment. Passionate about sustainable, intuitive design on complex sites, James’ work to-date spans across multiple sectors on both national and international projects. 

As a Director of Civic Engineers based in the Manchester studio, James leads on many of the practice’s projects in the North, including some of the buildings contributing to Manchester’s quickly changing skyline, such as Victoria Riverside, the gateway development to Manchester’s new Victoria North neighbourhood, and two 56-storey apartment buildings at Park Place within the Great Jackson Street masterplan.
