Plans go in for 20-storey Bolton tower


A planning application for the transformation of a key gateway site in Bolton town centre has been submitted to the local council.

Beechlane Investments has submitted plans for the Trinity Gateway project which includes a 20-storey residential tower of 144 apartments, 30,000 sq ft of Grade A office space and a 505-space multi-storey car park.

Seddon has been lined-up as main contractor with work expected to start on site next year.

Alec Colbeck, development director at Beechlane Investments, said: “These are tremendously exciting times for Bolton and we are very pleased to be playing a part in shaping its new, brighter future.”

Trinity Gateway has been designed by JM Architects with P4 Planning acting as planning consultant.
